Answers to your questions

Thank you for your input. Your comments and the feedback we have received through written submissions and the recent community information sessions have been really helpful.

Following up on your suggestions, we've updated the Frequently Asked Questions section of this site and our main website.  We hope this will give you more information about metro-style transport and the CBD Metro proposal.

The Frequently Asked Questions cover the following topics:

- The reasons for building the CBD Metro
- How the new Metro will connect with, and complement, Sydney’s other transport modes
- The impacts of the project on local property owners and businesses

We encourage you to read the new Frequently Asked Questions and continue to provide your feedack.  Your input will help in the development of the CBD Metro environmental assessment.

Introducing our Place Managers

We’d like to take this opportunity to introduce two highly valued members of the Sydney Metro team – our Place Managers, Deborah Palmer (on the left in the photo) and Katherine Martin.  If you click on the photo you will be able to see them better!

Deborah and Katherine have been appointed to ensure the community has direct access to a single point of contact at the Sydney Metro office.

Deborah is available to provide prompt assistance to the Rozelle and Pyrmont communities, Katherine, to the CBD community.

Over the past few weeks Deborah and Katherine have been out in the community meeting with local residents and business owners to listen to their views about the CBD Metro.  Their feedback has helped us to kick off our first community forum, which concentrates on topics arising from the Preliminary Environmental Assessment of the project.  As the project progresses, our Place Managers will make regular posts to this page and we encourage you to bookmark this page and keep in touch with them here.

Click here to join the discussion forum on the Preliminary Environmental Assessment now.
